Six months ago, Quibi was launched with great fanfare. It had $1.75 billion in funding, a dream team senior management with Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman and 10 minute bite-sized TV shows that seemed perfect for Generation Z’s short attention spans.
Like many who were curious, I signed up for the free trial but my interest quickly faded. Here’s my take on why I believe Quibi failed.
